Insane deals....
Here's what I got tonight: 5 Reynolds Handi Vacuums, 10 6pk double roll cottonelle toilet paper, 2 dial liquid soaps, 8 packages of gum, 1 package frozen waffels, 2 Mega packs of Huggies diapers, 2 gallons of milk, 4 packages of Lamisil (that alone costs 68.00 without coupon),3 mangos, 30 lbs of hamburger meat....I should have paid $294.74, however, with my coupons, etc. I paid $41.40. Oh, and that was only at one store. Then at Albertson's I spent a little more there but I got 13 boxes of Fruit Snacks, 8 bottles of mayo, 6 bags of the large MM's, 2 pkgs of 6pk double roll Charmin, and I know I'm missing something, but I spent $45.13, but I got $10.00 off my next shopping order plus 4 free movie tickets. Nice huh? Oh, I almost forgot, I'll be getting back $25.00 in rebates for my handi vacs too!

Gross.
So, the kids are sick, what's new right? It seems like once we get over something we get something else. Austin is finally feeling better, although last night he spewed all over Grandma and Grandpa's lawn...it's got quite a lot of color now in that spot. Alex is still sick, although not puking today...yet. Sam is miserably sick. She wants me to hold her all day and wipe her nose. If I don't catch it then she uses the back of her hand and runs around to find someone to tell them "Ew" before wiping it on the nearest piece of clothing that isn't her own. Then if she does decide to be adventurous and walk on her own she stomps around gagging this wretched sound that will forever ring in my ears. Interesting note though is that Sam and Alex had fevers with this crap whereas Austin never did. Anyway, that's what we are up to today, being sick. Good times.

Alex will be going to the preschool at Conestoga Rec Center. It's a private pay and it's just over $200.00 a term for 2 days a week, and a term lasts 10-12 weeks. It's a really hard program to get into. It's a great program and I really liked it with Austin. We had only one mishap and it wasn't with Austin persay, so I think it'll be just fine.
Jon's doing school today and I'm going to be going to work to help out. Andrea is coming over to stay with the kids for a couple of hours so I can go to work early and don't have to be there all night once Jon gets home.
Ok, gotta go workout now.

Summer camp
So, today I did a lot of trips to the store for my deals. I got quite a few actually that were really nice. A lot of hair dye...we all know that I need it...unfortunately.
I was able to sign Alex up for preschool this fall, and since I registered early enough we aren't even on the wait list! I'm stoaked. He'll be going on Tuesdays and Thursdays and then on Mondays he'll still be in speech therapy. He'll have a pretty full schedule for a 4 year old.
I also signed up Austin and Alex for summer camp. We did it last year for Austin and he loved it. This year Austin will be going for 3 hours per day and Alex for 1 1/2 hour per day. It's for an entire week. They are really looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to it. It will be nice for Sam and I to just have girl time, which actually means if there is a good deal going on at the time...SHOPPING! :)
I work tomorrow, which I'm really happy about. It seems sometimes when you only have to focus on one thing, life is much easier. It's been really busy around here and it's hard to be a wife, mother, coupon mom, get my dictation done...all of the above...so to focus on just one thing will be a relief.
Hope everyone is well and when the wall is legal...let me know, Vickie.

Crazy Day
I'm still not feeling 100%, I'm not entirely sure what bug it is, but my stomach has felt uneasy since Friday evening? Then, if that wasn't bad enough, Alex tried to poison me. You didn't read misread that. I was on the elliptical working out and the phone rang. I ran to get it. I was probably on the phone for about 10 minutes. When I came back to finish my workout I took a drink out of my water bottle and low and behold I take a swallow and notice that it tastes and smells like cleaner. I didn't, thankfully, swallow a whole mouthful, but enough to make me feel not quite right. As it turns out, for still unknown reasons, Alex put Febreeze in my water! I explained to him that that wasn't an ok thing to do and that we shouldn't spray it on anyone or put it in our food, etc. Talk about annoying though. You would think that is common sense, but I guess it isn't for a 3 year old.
Other than that, we had an ok day. I went to the store tonight and got a ton of groceries including 20 bags of cat food (no we haven't gotten a cat) because I could get it for free with coupons. I'm going to try to do a garage sale at some point in the future and try to sell some of my excess food storage. My friend Theresa had a garage sale with all of her excess stuff that she either got for free or for very close to it this last weekend and made over $700.00! So, since I have well over 200boxes of cereal that we will not eat before it expires, not to mention that I get more of it all the time for free, I thought I'd try it myself. We'll see if I can get more excess by June.
Ok, so nothing else more to note really...

Family Sunday
Well, Sam and I stayed home from church today because I was not feeling too hot. Jon took the boys to church with him and Austin gave his first talk in primary in this ward. When he got home he said that he did a really good job and that the ladies really liked it. His talk was about Samuel the Lamanite. He's so cute.
Sam and watched some shows on TV about crab fishermen and read books. It was nice to just be around only her and focus on her for a bit. We don't get that much.
Alex has speech therapy tomorrow with Ian. I hope that he does ok as this is the first time I won't be with him during his session. He's going to be a loner, but I think he will do fine. He seems pretty ok with it.
Ok, I've got to get going, I'm too tired to do anything else. :)

Trying this out
Hey All,
I thought that I would start a blog to keep you updated on our life. However, I'm new at this and need to figure out how to post pictures still and well...I still need to figure out the rest of it, too.
Anyway, hopefully I'll be able to post more later, but right now I need to change Sam.
